Dominick Gadaleta, MD, FACS, earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from George Washington University. Dr. Gadaleta completed his surgical internship and residency at the North Shore University Hospital, where he was selected to serve his final year as Chief Resident. He has also completed specialty fellowship training in surgical infection at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. As a testament to his expertise, Dr. Gadaleta was selected as an investigator for the FDA trials that led to the approval of the Lap-Band system. Dr. Gadaleta is an active member of several renowned professional organizations, including the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association.

Larry E. Gellman, MD, FACS, received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He completed his surgical internship and residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he was selected to serve his final year as Chief Resident. Dr. Gellman has also received fellowship training in laparoscopic surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He specializes in laparoscopic gastric banding and laparoscopic and open Roux-en-Y gastric bypass procedures.
