More about Dr. Weiglein

Dr. Weiglein earned his medical degree through the University of Calgary before beginning rigorous plastic surgery training through the University of Western Ontario. He was then honored with the prestigious two-year McLaughlin Fellowship, which enabled him to travel to Japan and Australia for postgraduate training in reconstructive microsurgery. After returning to Burlington, Ontario, Dr. Weiglein provided plastic surgical care at both the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital as well as the Joseph Brant memorial Hospital. He opened his private surgical facility, the Centre for Personal Surgery, in 1991.

Dr. Weiglein holds active membership in a number of prestigious medical societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
