Dr. Ward works closely with his highly experienced staff to provide each patient with a rewarding, life-changing experience. This state-of-the-art facility has two fully equipped operating rooms and full general anesthesia capabilities. The Valley Surgery Centre is staffed by a certified anesthesiologist as well as registered nurses that are fully qualified in surgery and recovery techniques.

More About David K. Ward, MD, FRCS(C)

David K. Ward, MD, FRCS(C), earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Toronto in 1980. He remained there to complete his plastic surgery residency and reconstructive microsurgery fellowship. Dr. Ward has served on the medical staff at Hamilton Civic Hospital, as an assistant clinical professor of plastic surgery at McMaster University and as the chair of the Surrey Memorial Hospitals division of plastic surgery. He is the Medical Director of Valley Surgery Centre and has served as the President of the Section of Plastic Surgery for the British Columbia Medical Association.

Dr. Ward is certified in the Specialty of Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is an Active Member of several prestigious organizations, including the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Canadian Society for Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
