Robert M. Wald, Jr., MD, FACS, is a renowned board-certified plastic surgeon who has performed more than 2,000 surgeries in a career spanning more than 20 years. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In addition to running his practice, Dr. Wald serves on the clinical faculty of Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he trains plastic surgery residents. Dr. Wald is a former president of the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons and was named a "Top Doc" by Orange Coast magazine seven years in a row. More About Dr. Robert M. Wald, Jr., MD, FACS

Robert M. Wald, Jr., MD, FACS, received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Southern California. Following graduation, he performed general surgery at the University of Colorado for two years before going on to the University of California, Los Angeles, where he completed a four-year residency in otolaryngology and a two-year residency in plastic surgery. Dr. Wald holds privileges at Placentia-Linda Hospital and St. Jude Medical Center, where he served as director of medical education for eight years and chief of surgery in 1995 and 2004. Dr. Wald is the author of numerous scholarly research articles and a member of many professional medical organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
