More About the Umansky Medical Center Surgeons

Charles Umansky, MD, completed his undergraduate degree at Syracuse University and his medical degree at Albany Medical College in New York. He performed a general surgery internship and residency at the USC Medical Center. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ. Dr. Charles Umansky is a member of several medical organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the San Diego Plastic Surgery Society. He is also a member of the volunteer clinical faculty at the UCSD School of Medicine.

William Umansky, MD, earned an undergraduate degree with distinction from Cornell University in Ithaca and a medical degree with Alpha Omega Alpha distinction from the UCLA Medical School. He then completed a general surgery internship, a general surgery residency and a plastic surgery residency at the Stanford University Medical Center. He also completed a cosmetic and aesthetic fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, FL. Dr. William Umansky feels strongly about the power of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery and serves as an Interface volunteer providing free cleft lip and palate surgery for children in Mexico. He is an active member of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the San Diego Plastic Surgery Society and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Jeffrey Umansky, MD, received his undergraduate degree with Phi Beta Kappa distinction from UC, Berkeley. He later earned a medical degree with Alpha Omega Alpha distinction at the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Jeffrey Umansky served a general surgery internship and residency at the UC, Irvine Healthcare Center in Orange County, and a plastic surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He also performed a cosmetic and aesthetic fellowship at the Boston Center for Ambulatory Surgery, where he studied under esteemed Harvard University cosmetic surgeons. Dr. Jeffrey Umansky regularly donates his time and surgical skills to various non-profit organizations, including MOST and Freshstart. In addition, he is a member of the volunteer clinical faculty at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Jeffrey Umansky is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the San Diego Plastic Surgery Society.
