More About the Surgeons at Umansky Medical Center

William Umansky, MD, earned an undergraduate degree with distinction from Cornell University in Ithaca and a medical degree with Alpha Omega Alpha distinction from the University of California David Geffen School of Medicine in Los Angeles. After medical school, he served a general surgery internship, a general surgery residency and a plastic surgery residency at the Stanford University Medical Center. He also completed a cosmetic and aesthetic fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. Dr. William Umansky serves as an Interface volunteer providing free cleft lip and palate surgery for children in Mexico. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the San Diego Plastic Surgery Society.

Jeffrey Umansky, MD, received his undergraduate degree with Phi Beta Kappa distinction from the University of California, Berkeley. He later earned a medical degree with Alpha Omega Alpha distinction at the University of California, David Geffen School of Medicine in Los Angeles. Dr. Jeffrey Umansky served a general surgery internship and residency at the University of California, Irvine Healthcare Center in Orange, and a plastic surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Fort Lauderdale. He also performed a cosmetic and aesthetic fellowship at the Boston Center for Ambulatory Surgery, where he studied under esteemed Harvard University cosmetic surgery instructors. Dr. Jeffrey Umansky regularly donates his time and surgical skills to various non-profit organizations, including MOST and Freshstart. In addition, he is a member of the volunteer clinical faculty at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Jeffrey Umansky is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the San Diego Plastic Surgery Society.
