Andrew Trussler, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Trussler has advanced fellowship training in cosmetic surgery and has written and lectured extensively on the topic. He has been featured in numerous publications, including the Consumers' Research Council of America's "Guide to America's Top Surgeons" and Marquis' "Who's Who in the United States" for 2012. Dr. Trussler has delivered lectures at home and abroad on cosmetic surgery topics. In addition, he has authored numerous articles and book chapters and has earned several awards in recognition of his scientific contributions to the field. Dr. Trussler currently performs surgery and serves as an Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, which has been ranked as one of "America's Best Hospitals" by the U.S. News and World Report.

Dr. Trussler performs a variety of cosmetic procedures of the face, body and breasts, including facelift, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), brow lift, cheek lift, ear surgery, tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), liposuction, arm lift (brachioplasty), inner and outer thigh lift, body lift, male chest contouring, buttock lift, butt augmentation, breast lift, breast augmentation, breast reduction, congenital breast surgery and "mommy makeover" – a combination of body contouring procedures to help new mothers regain their pre-pregnancy figures. He also performs a number of reconstructive procedures, including advanced breast reconstruction after mastectomy (breast removal), pediatric plastic surgery, microvascular reconstruction, nasal reconstruction, MOHs surgery reconstruction and complex abdominal wall reconstruction. In addition, Dr. Trussler offers a number of minimally invasive cosmetic treatments, including laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels, leg vein treatment, scar therapy, lip augmentation, Botox, Restylane, Radiesse, Sculptra, Evolence, Juvederm injections and prescriptions for Latisse, the first and only FDA-approved eyelash treatment.

Dr. Trussler's practice is located at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in a state-of-the-art outpatient clinical building complete with modern office space, photo studios, a full complement of laser and skin care services and a massage therapy suite. He and his team gladly accommodate out-of-town patients with custom fly-in, fly-out packages. Overnight stay is arranged at the Medallion Guest Suites, where patients can enjoy the services of two experienced aestheticians and the care of a registered nurse during recovery. Patients staying at the Medallion Guests Suites also receive pre- and post-surgical lymphatic massage therapy treatments.

Andrew Trussler, MD, FACS, received his undergraduate degree in exercise physiology, cum laude, from the University of Southern California (USC). He completed his medical degree with suma cum laude honors at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. While in medical school, Dr. Trussler was a Dean's Scholar and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Trussler completed his general surgery residency at the University of Michigan and his plastic surgery training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He performed a one-year aesthetic surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where he began his practice in 2007. Dr. Trussler is certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society. He is also a member of the Frederick A. Coller Surgical Society and a candidate member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
