David Thao, MD, received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his general surgery residency at St. John Hospital in Detroit and received advanced training in plastic surgery in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Thao is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
