John Heieck, MD, has practiced medicine for more than 25 years. He earned his medical degree and completed general surgery training at Creighton University. After a two year tour of duty in the United States Army, Dr. Heieck conducted medical research in the field of trauma. He then went on to complete his plastic surgery training at Baylor University in Texas.

Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Heieck serves as the surgical director of the cleft palate team at Boys Town National Research Institute. He also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Creighton University and as an Instructor of Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Dr. Heieck is a distinguished member of a number of professional medical societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Lipolysis Society of North America, the Cleft Palate Association, the Nebraska College of Surgeons, the Metro Omaha Medical Society, and the Nebraska Society of Plastic Surgery.

John Edney, MD, is an Omaha, Nebraska native who has treated Omaha plastic surgery patients since 1983. A graduate of Creighton University, Dr. Edney finished an intensive, five-year general surgery residency and a fellowship in surgical oncology at Creighton University. He completed plastic surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh where he completed additional fellowship training in microvascular surgery.

As Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Dr. Edney was named Chairman of a task force for the early detection of breast cancer by the Nebraska Chapter of the American Cancer Society. In addition to maintaining practice at Aesthetic Surgical Images, Dr. Edney is an active member of the Board of Directors of the Douglas County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

Richard Bruneteau, MD, FACS, is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Iowa. He went on to complete a two-year residency in plastic surgery at the University of California in San Francisco. He also completed a fellowship in microvascular surgery at the University of California and a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston.

In addition to his practice in cosmetic surgery, Dr. Bruneteau is Director of the craniofacial team at Children's Memorial Hospital. He is board certified in plastic surgery and general surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In addition, Dr. Bruneteau is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Metro Omaha Medical Society.

Marie Montag, MD, FACS, attended medical school and completed her residency in general surgery at Creighton University. She continued her plastic surgery training at the University of Wisconsin in Madison before studying craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery for an additional year under Dr. Louis Morales in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dr. Montag has returned to Omaha after practicing with Heartland Plastic Surgery where she served as Director of Blank Childrens Craniofacial Clinic in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Montag is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
