Dr. Stokers experience with breast surgery in Los Angeles earned not only special mention The New York Times The New York Times Style Magazine, but allowed him to be named by the editors as one of the top cosmetic plastic surgeons in the country. Additionally, the Los Angeles plastic surgeon has served as an expert on plastic surgery on the Dr. Phil Show. Dr. Stoker also has a history of educating other plastic surgeons on issues relating to body contouring at the annual meetings of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

After graduating with honors from Stanford University, Dr. Stoker studied medicine at the University of California at San Francisco, where he belonged to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in General Surgery at the New York University Medical Center. There, he was recognized with the British Journal of Surgery Award for the highest score in the department of the National In-Service Training Exam. He completed his residency in Plastic Surgery at the world-renowned Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYUs School of Medicine.

Dr. Stoker is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).

Grant Stevens, MD, FACS

Dr. Stevens is well known in the consumer media for his expertise in plastic surgery, specifically for Long Beach, the South Bay, Beverly Hills and Los Angeles area breast enhancement. He has appeared in USA Today, People Magazine, Beauty, Los Angeles Times Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, as well as on CNN, MSNBC, CBS News, Entertainment Tonight, and numerous other outlets.

He earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine (St. Louis), where he graduated with honors; he would later perform specialized fellowship training in hand surgery at the same university. Dr. Stevens performed his General Surgery residency at Harbor/University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. He performed his residency in Plastic Surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine, Division of Plastic Surgery, where in his final year, he served as Chief Resident.

Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Stevens actively participates in 17 local, California state, national and international plastic surgery societies, is a Fellow of the well-respected American College of Surgeons, and was the Co-Director of The Breast Center at Los Angeles Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital.
