Dr. Stevens graduated with honors from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where he obtained both his medical degree and graduated with honors. He completed a General Surgery residency at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center, and performed his Plastic Surgery residency at the Washington University School of Medicine, Division of Plastic Surgery. There, he also served as Chief Resident during his final year.

Dr. Stevens serves on the plastic surgery faculty at both the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Stevens actively participates in 17 local, California state, national and international plastic surgery societies, including the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons.

He has appeared on the Dr. Phil Show where he served as an expert on plastic surgery, as well as on The Discovery Health Channel where he showcased his abdominoplasty expertise. Additionally, at the annual meetings of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Dr. Stoker trains other surgeons on various body contouring cosmetic surgery procedures.

Graduating with honors from Stanford University, Dr. Stoker later studied medicine and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society at the University of California, San Francisco. He performed his General Surgery residency at the New York University Medical Center and his Plastic Surgery Residency at New York University School of Medicines Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. At the aforementioned, Medical Center, Dr. Stoker achieved the highest score in the department on the National In-Service Training Exam, receiving the British Journal of Surgery Award.

Dr. Stoker is both a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
