Paul Silverstein, MD, FACS, is a talented, University of Pennsylvania, Emory University and Harvard-educated surgeon specializing in plastic cosmetic surgery. He is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. A U.S. Army surgeon, Dr. Silverstein has conducted important laboratory and clinical research aimed at enhancing the medical care of combat-injured soldiers and their families. In recognition of his research contributions and surgical prowess, the Army awarded Dr. Silverstein its Meritorious Service Medal in 1972.

More About Paul Silverstein, MD, FACS

Paul Silverstein, MD, FACS, completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Silverstein currently serves as a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and as the Chairman of Plastic Surgery at the Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He is a published author whose articles on wound healing, artificial skin substitutes and other plastic surgery subjects have appeared in many highly regarded medical journals. Dr. Silverstein is an active member of several prominent professional associations, including the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Burn Association and the International Society for Burn Injuries.
