More About Dr. Rubinstein

Adam J. Rubinstein, MD graduated with honors from the City University of New York, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Rubinstein attended St. Louis University School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine while graduating with Distinctions in both Research and Community Service. After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Rubinstein performed his residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach and completed his plastic surgery training at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas (birthplace of the breast implant). He performed his fellowship training in hand and microsurgery at the renowned Buncke Clinic. He also completed a fellowship in craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery training with world-famous plastic surgeons S. Anthony Wolfe, MD and D. Ralph Millard, MD.

In addition to serving as chief surgeon at Turnberry Plastic Surgery, Dr. Rubinstein also works on staff at most area hospitals in both a plastic surgery and trauma capacity. Placing great importance in motivating and educating tomorrow's surgeons, Dr. Rubinstein serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at NOVA Southeastern University and as a part of the clinical faculty for the Cleveland Clinic Plastic Surgery Residency Program in Florida. Additionally, Dr. Rubinstein is the exclusive plastic surgeon for the internationally renowned Pritikin Longevity Center.

Currently, Dr. Rubinstein serves on the editorial board of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal, published by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is affiliated with a number of professional societies, some of which include the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the D. Ralph Millard Plastic Surgery Society, and the Cronin, Brauer Biggs Plastic Surgery Society. Dr. Rubnstein was recently named in Biltmore Who's Who for his personal and professional accomplishments.
