More about Dr. Ronel

Dr. Ronel graduated with honors from both Princeton University and the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his plastic surgery training at the New York Presbyterian Hospital program, which includes New York Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and the Hospital for Special Surgery.

In addition to holding board-certification in plastic surgery, Dr. Ronel is a board-certified pediatrician. He is the only physician in the United States with these two board certifications. He completed his pediatric medical training at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia (University of Pennsylvania) and Boston Childrens Hospital (Harvard University).

Following his formal medical training, Dr. Ronel served as a Chief Medical Officer in the United States Air Force for four years. Recognized for his sound medical practices and extensive professional experience, Dr. Ronel currently maintains a private practice in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico and enjoys surgical privileges at a number of prominent area hospitals, including Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, Lovelace-Sandia Health System in Albuquerque, St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, and the Physicians Medical Center of Santa Fe.

Dr. Ronel is a distinguished member of a number of prestigious medical societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Surgeons.
