Jose L. Rios, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon who is highly skilled in performing a wide range of cosmetic procedures of the body, face and breasts. The extensive training Dr. Rios has received allows him to find aesthetic solutions that fit the needs and often exceed the expectations of his patients. Dr. Rios studied under the mentorship of some of the most renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeons at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Cindy's Breast Augmentation Surgery with Dr. Rios

Cindy is a busy single mom in her early 40s. Her breasts had been a size A, borderline B, and she had thought about breast enhancement for a few years. "It seemed like it was always in the back of my mind," she said, "but I convinced myself I really didn't need it."

Cindy describes herself as self-confident and basically content with her body overall. "But as I got older, I began to notice my breasts were getting a little relaxed." With other changes occurring in her life, Cindy made the decision to get serious about breast augmentation surgery. "I decided to give myself a present..."

Kelly's Breast Augmentation Surgery and Tummy Tuck with Dr. Rios

After her fourth child, Kelly vowed she'd get back in good shape. She promised herself that if she did, and kept it up for a year, she would seek cosmetic surgery to help her get her pre-mommy body back.

The mother of four children... Kelly is in her late thirties. She has always taken good care of herself, but with each pregnancy she gained a little more weight, and with each childbirth she found her body just that much more out of shape. "It got harder and harder to take the weight off," she said.

What's worse, while her pre-pregnancy breasts were a full size C, Kelly said, "After my fourth child, there was just nothing left. I had almost no breast tissue at all. I wasn't even an A cup. I knew I wanted to fill them back up."

Kelly did what she set out to do: she lost the extra weight. A good diet and fitness routine did the trick for her, and she achieved her goal of keeping the weight off for a year. She began to plan a breast augmentation and decided to have a mini tummy tuck as well...

"...I am so pleased with the results," she says. Her new breasts, with their silicone gel implants, look and feel soft and natural. And she finally has the flat tummy she never had, even before pregnancy. "I look better than I did when I was 18!" she said. "When other women see me now, their reaction is always, 'Oh, my gosh!'

Jose L. Rios, MD, completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Princeton University, where he received the Charles B. Cannon Memorial Prize for best thesis presentation. He attended medical school at New York University School of Medicine and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Rios served a residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he also completed his plastic surgery training. He is currently on staff at Hinsdale Hospital, the Elmhurst Outpatient Surgery Center, the Silver Cross Hospital and the Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center.
