David P. Rapaport, MD, FACS, is a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon who is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery – a distinction held by few cosmetic surgeons. He served as Chief Resident at Harvard Medical School Department of Surgery before completing his residency in plastic surgery, where he also served as Chief Resident. In recognition of his outstanding surgical skills, Dr. Rapaport was named one of New York magazine's "Top NYC Plastic Surgeons." He has also been cited in The New York Times, and New Beauty and Glamour magazines, as well as featured on Extra, The Health Network, NY1, FOX News and the CBS Early Show.

Dr. Rapaport performs a wide range of face, body and breast cosmetic procedures, including facelift, Smartlipo liposuction, tummy tuck, revisional cosmetic surgery and breast augmentation. He is a cosmetic surgery innovator with extensive experience in endoscopic breast surgery. Dr. Rapaport is one of the first and only surgeons in the New York area to incorporate the state-of-the-art Axis Three 3-D Portrait technology into his practice, which allows women to better plan and visualize the results of their breast augmentation procedure. In addition, he offers non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including Botox injections, Radiesse, Restylane and Sculptra, and he serves as a national Sculptra trainer. He performs most procedures at his fully accredited surgical suite on Manhattan's Fifth Avenue. He frequently treats people from around the country and the world who seek him out specifically for his surgical expertise and artistic eye.

More About David P. Rapaport, MD, FACS

David P. Rapaport, MD, FACS, began his medical studies at Boston University's six-year medical program. He is one of the only plastic surgeons to have been admitted to this program at the age of 16. He later transferred to Tel Aviv University in Ramat Aviv, Israel, where he completed his medical degree. Dr. Rapaport completed a general surgery residency at Harvard Medical School's Beth Israel Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He went on to complete a plastic surgery residency and microsurgery fellowship at New York University Medical Center's prestigious Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, where he also was named Executive Chief Resident. Following his education, Dr. Rapaport served as an Assistant Professor in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He has written several published textbook chapters and journal articles, and has been invited to lecture to several medical organizations. Dr. Rapaport is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Medical Association.
