More About Brian V. Heil, MD, FACS

Brian Vasser Heil, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon. Dr. Heil graduated with honors from Saint Vincent College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in organic chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in organismal biology. He received his medical degree, also with honors, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He went on to complete a microsurgery and thrombosis fellowship, a general surgery residency and a plastic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Heil is founder, CEO and senior partner of Premier Plastic Surgery, to which he brings his expertise as a surgical laser specialist and trainer, performing a variety of minimally invasive procedures, including endoscopic surgery, laser surgery and microsurgery. He also serves as the Medical Director for the Acqua Blu Medical Spa and Skin Care Center. Having authored or co-authored more than 50 papers, abstracts and presentations related to the subject of plastic surgery, Dr. Heil is often asked to present his findings at national and regional plastic surgery meetings. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Robert H. Ivy Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the Medical Spa Society, the International Medical Spa Association, the Ohio Valley Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Pittsburgh Society of Plastic Surgeons.
