Dr. Mary Powers, MD, FACS, is a board-certified female plastic surgeon with offices in Beverly Hills and Long Beach. Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Powers has many years of experience providing specialized plastic and reconstructive surgery to patients throughout Los Angeles County. In addition to running her practice, Dr. Powers is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University of Southern California School of Medicine and a clinical instructor of surgery at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences.

More About Dr. Powers, MD, FACS

Dr. Powers, MD, FACS, received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis, and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. She completed a general surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego, followed by a plastic surgery residency at the St. Louis University Health Sciences Center. She was awarded a surgery research fellowship by Duke University Medical Center and a Boyes Hand Surgery fellowship by the University of Southern California Medical School. Dr. Powers is the author of various research publications, abstracts and presentations and belongs to numerous professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Association for Academic Surgery and the American Medical Women's Association.
