We also now offer labiaplasty.

More About Otto J. Placik, MD, FACS

Otto J. Placik, MD, FACS, received his Bachelors of Science in Medicine (BSM) and Doctorate of Medicine (MD) from Northwestern University. Following medical school, Dr. Placik remained at Northwestern University to participate in a select post-graduate internship program and to complete his general and plastic surgery residencies. He later completed an aesthetic reconstruction fellowship through St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago and a microvascular and hand surgery fellowship through Davies Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr. Placik is heavily involved with the research and implementation of new treatments and therapies in the field of plastic surgery. He has held numerous faculty appointments throughout his distinguished career, serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery and Clinical Instructor in Plastic Surgery at Northwestern University, and a Clinical Instructor in Plastic Surgery at Lakeside VA Medical Center.

Dr. Placik is affiliated with a number of the major professional medical societies, some of which include: The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons (Associate Fellow), the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Medical Association, the Illinois State Medical Society, the Chicago Medical Society, and the Plastic Surgery Research Council. He holds appointments at various area hospitals, including the Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights and Evanston Northwestern Healthcare (Evanston and Glenbrook Hospitals).
