More About Constantino Mendieta, MD, FACS

Constantino Mendieta, MD, FACS, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at Maricopa County Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, where he served as Chief Resident his final year. Dr. Mendieta completed a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center in Miami, Florida. He has also completed several advanced fellowships, including a fellowship in plastic surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, Scotland, and a fellowship in aesthetic surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition, Dr. Mendieta has trained with world-renowned French breast surgeon Dr. Luis Benneli, and with the famous Brazilian plastic surgeon Dr. Sampaio Góes. Dr. Mendieta is an active member of several highly regarded professional associations, including the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association and the Dade County Medical Association.
