John LoMonaco, MD, is a highly skilled plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. LoMonaco has completed nine years of postgraduate medical training, including an advanced fellowship in plastic surgery. John LoMonaco, MD, completed a medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He then completed a general surgery residency, a plastic surgery fellowship and other postgraduate training at several Texas Medical Center hospitals, including Memorial Hermann Hospital and M.D. Anderson Cancer Institute. During his postgraduate training, he performed laboratory research in tissue healing and treatment for burn victims. Dr. LoMonaco served as an instructor at the University of Texas Health Science Center and as Director of Plastic Surgery at Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital. He is a member of several medical organizations, including the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons.
