The Mommy Makeover tightens, tones and reshapes the body by lifting and shaping sagging breasts via a breast lift and flattening the abdomen with a tummy tuck and sometimes liposuction. John S. Lee, MD, received his bachelor's degree from Pomona College before earning his medical and dental degrees from Columbia University in New York. Following medical and dental school, Dr. Lee continued his training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center where he studied oral and maxillofacial surgery. He later completed his general surgery training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center before completing his plastic surgery residency at Oregon Health Sciences University. Although Dr. Lee's formal training has long since culminated, he remains dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge as it relates to aesthetic surgery.

Dr. Lee is affiliated with a number of professional medical societies, some of which include American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Northwest Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Oregon Medical Association.

He maintains surgical privileges at a number of area hospitals, including Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital, Providence St. Vincent's Medical Center, Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center and Shriner's Hospital for Children.
