Francis R. Johns, DMD, MD, received his Bachelor of Science degree, graduating summa cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine and a Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Johns completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and he served his plastic surgery residency at the renowned University of Virginia Health Center. Dr. Johns is a strong believer in continuing education, and he routinely attends advanced seminars and courses to stay abreast of the latest plastic surgery techniques and treatments. Dr. Johns is also a published author with more than twenty publications to his credit. His professional affiliations include active membership in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
