Robert Houser, DO, is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience with advanced surgical techniques. As a member of the plastic surgery faculty of The Ohio State University, Dr. Houser remains current on the latest cosmetic surgery innovations. Located in Westerville, Ohio, just north of Columbus, Dr. Houser's surgical facility is convenient for patients in Columbus, as well as patients from Toledo, Findlay, and Bowling Green. For surgical patients who require an overnight stay in the Columbus area, Dr. Houser has arranged for overnight care through a post-surgical recovery center in Columbus. Dr. Houser provides a variety of face, body and breast plastic surgery procedures, including facelift, rhinoplasty, tummy tuck, liposuction and breast augmentation. He also offers brow lift, eyelid surgery, mini-abdominoplasty and Vaser liposuction.

Dr. Houser performs cosmetic surgery procedures at his private in-office surgical facility, which is fully accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF). AAAASF accreditation is only awarded to surgical facilities which maintain the highest level of patient care, safety, cleanliness and emergency response procedures. Dr. Houser's facility is physically connected to Mt. Carmel / St Ann's Hospital, where he has full operating privileges. Dr. Houser and his experienced, highly qualified medical staff make patient care, comfort and privacy their top priority.

Dr. Houser does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to plastic surgery. He knows attention to small details can make a big difference. Dr. Houser takes the time with each patient to understand his or her desired results and to offer guidance as a patient chooses the most suitable procedures.

Out of concern for patient privacy, Dr. Houser never publishes before and after photos of patients on the internet. However, he does have permission from many of his patients to show their before and after photos in the privacy of his office. Dr. Houser will be happy to look over these with you during your consultation.

More About Robert Houser, DO

Robert Houser, DO, received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University (OSU). Dr. Houser completed his medical degree at Ohio University and his plastic surgery residency at The Ohio State University. He went on to join the staff at OSU in the division of plastic surgery. He is also active in general surgery education at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Currently, Dr. Houser is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Ohio Valley Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Ohio State Medical Society, the Columbus Medical Association and the Columbus Society of Plastic Surgeons.

A native of Columbus, Dr. Houser lives in the Westerville area with his wife and two children. He is committed to women's health and is a supporter of Jan's Place, The Race for the Cure, Buckeye Cure for Cancer and Junior League of Columbus.
