Dr. Guerrero completed his undergraduate education at Colegio San Pedro Apostol, supplemented with studies of English at Truman College in Chicago, Illinois. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Central del Este (UCE) in the Dominican Republic, performing his internship at the Dr. Ramón de Lara Military Air Force Hospital. Dr. Guerrero is an active Medical Colonel of the Dominican Air Force. Dr. Guerrero completed residencies in general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Marcilio Dias Naval Hospital in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Following the completion of his studies, he has continued to refine his medical and surgical skills with numerous continuing education courses in cosmetic plastic surgery, including:
