Charles Gruenwald, Jr., MD, FACS, is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has more than 30 years' experience helping patients achieve beautiful, natural-looking results. His talent and experience are widely recognized, making him a highly sought after aesthetic surgeon. In addition to maintaining a burgeoning practice in New Orleans, he served until recently as an Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery at Louisiana State University, Department of Surgery. Attesting to his wide range of surgical experience, Dr. Gruenwald is also certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Gruenwald maintains active membership in both the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. More About Charles Gruenwald, Jr., MD, FACS

Charles Gruenwald, Jr., MD, FACS, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Duke University School of Medicine in 1969. He completed his surgical internship and a one-year general surgery residency at State University of New York, Kings County Hospital. Following two years of active duty as a surgeon for the U.S. Navy, Dr. Gruenwald continued his education and training with a three-year otolaryngology residency at Harvard University Medical School and his two-year plastic surgery residency at the University of Utah, College of Medicine. He is one of the founding partners of Associates in Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Gruenwald has been repeatedly listed in "The Best Doctor's in America" annual publication. Recently, he was also included in the Top Doctors list of Louisiana Life magazine.
