James Green, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience serving patients from Santa Fe, Albuquerque and throughout New Mexico. Dr. Green performs a wide range of cosmetic plastic surgery procedures for the breasts, body and face. He provides breast enhancement surgery procedures including breast augmentation with silicone or saline breast implants, breast lift, breast reduction and breast reconstruction for women who have had a mastectomy. He also offers tummy tuck and liposuction as well as various procedures for the face, including facelift, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, fat grafting, brow lift and neck lift. In addition, he offers a selection of minimally invasive treatments such as collagen induction therapy (micro-needling) and the facial injectables Botox, Dysport, Juvederm and Restylane.

Dr. Green performs plastic surgery procedures at his private, Zen Buddhist-inspired surgical suite in Santa Fe. His surgical facility has been awarded the highest level of accreditation – Class C – by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities. More About James Green, MD, FACS

James Green, MD, FACS, earned his undergraduate degree from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. He then completed a Master of Science degree at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg before obtaining his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed a general surgery residency at East Tennessee State University Department of Surgery, where he was Chief Resident, and a plastic surgery residency at the Chattanooga Unit of the University of Tennessee Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, where he was Chief Plastic Surgery Resident. Dr. Green then went on to complete a fellowship in plastic surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He has served as an Instructor in Surgery at Quillen-Dishner College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University, where he was also named Outstanding Surgical Resident two years in a row. Dr. Green has authored numerous publications and presentations and is affiliated with many professional medical organizations, including the American Medical Association and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
