Dr. Gikas is highly regarded for his professional and academic achievements. He completed rigorous general surgery training through Mount Zion Hospital and Medical Center in San Francisco, California before completing his plastic surgery residency at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine.

After earning board certification in plastic surgery from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Gikas entered into private practice, where he continues to help change the lives of patients from across the nation.

An active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Dr. Gikas is also a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Surgeons.
