Dr. Michael C. Fasching, FACS received his undergraduate degree from St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minnesota, before earning his Doctorate of Medicine from the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota. Following medical school, Dr. Fasching completed his general surgery residency at Hennepin County Medical Center, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, leading to board certification by the American Board of Surgery. He then went on to complete a plastic surgery and craniofacial fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. A fellowship for aesthetic surgery in Miami Beach followed his training at The Mayo Clinic. Dr. Fasching is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Beyond his extensive training and experience in private practice, Dr. Fasching has also served as a volunteer providing treatment to children suffering from facial deformities in Peru, The British Virgin Islands, as well as with Operation Smile in Venezuela.

Dr. Fasching is affiliated with a number of professional medical societies, some of which include: Hitchcock Surgical Society, Hennepin County Medical Society, Minneapolis Surgical Society, St. Paul Surgical Society, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Aesthetic Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons. He has been a fellow in the American College of Surgeons for the past 15 years as well. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has been selected as a Fellow in the Prestigious American College of Surgeons (FACS).
