More About the Plastic Surgeons of Edina Plastic Surgery

Nathan Leigh, MD is a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic procedures of the body and face. Dr. Leigh earned a B.S. from Iowa State University and a B.S. in Medicine from the University of North Dakota. He later attended Wake Forest School of Medicine where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine. Dr. Leigh performed his general surgery residency at the North Carolina Baptist Hospital, after which he performed plastic surgery residencies at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital and the Erlanger Medical Center. In addition to performing cosmetic plastic surgery, Dr. Leigh is an avid swimmer and has broken state, national, and world records in Masters Swimming. He also enjoys golf with his wife and three grown children.

Michael Philbin, MD is a board-certified plastic surgeon who joined the Edina Plastic Surgery team in 2001. Dr. Philbin earned his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire before attending the University of Wisconsin Medical School and earning his Doctorate of Medicine. He remained at his alma mater in order to complete general and plastic surgery residencies. His skills were later recognized by receiving the prestigious Yale-Bothom Award for Outstanding Chief Resident. His achievements also earned him the honor of being selected as a Top Doc by Madison Magazine. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Robert Wilke, MD is a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in breast surgery, body contouring and facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. Wilke earned his B.A. from Illinois Wesleyan University before earning his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. After graduation, he performed his general surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, where he also served as Chief Resident his final year. Following completion of his residency, Dr. Wilke remained at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics where he performed fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Wilke feels strongly about the life-changing benefits of improved self-confidence related to plastic surgery. In his free time, Dr. Wilke enjoys being with his wife and two children.
