Christian G. Drehsen, MD, received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Brussels in Belgium. He served his residency at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Drehsen has also completed specialty training in plastic surgery at the University of Louisville. In addition, he has received advanced training in hand surgery under the renowned hand surgeon Dr. Harold Kleinert and training in microsurgery under the direction of Dr. Robert Ackland, a pioneer in the field of microsurgery. Dr. Drehsen is a published author with numerous articles in several highly regarded trade journals.
