Phillip E. Dahan, MD, CM, FACS, completed his Bachelor of Science degree (physiology) with honors at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where he also completed his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery degrees. Dr. Dahan also performed his general surgery residency at McGill University and was selected early for the university's prestigious plastic and reconstructive surgery residency program. He subsequently trained under renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Fernando Ortiz-Monasterio, and then completed a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at SUNY at Buffalo. Dr. Dahan is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has been selected as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Dahan is a member of numerous medical societies, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Nevada State Medical Association and the Washoe County Medical Society. In addition, he has served as section chief of the department of plastic surgery at Renown Medical Center and Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
