More About the Surgeons of Coral Gables Cosmetic Center

Vijay M. Sharma, MD, MPH, received his undergraduate and medical education at George Washington University. He completed a residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Tulane University and was Chief Resident at the renowned Charity Hospital in New Orleans. Following residency, Dr. Sharma continued his education with the prestigious Glasgold fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Sharma is board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Robert Hunsaker, MD, FACS, completed his medical education at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He served a five-year general surgery residency at the University of North Carolina, where he was named Chief Resident. Dr. Hunsaker completed plastic surgery fellowships at the City Hospital Regional Plastics Unit in England and at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He is frequently asked to speak to plastic surgeons worldwide. Dr. Hunsaker has published multiple scientific articles and has been featured as an expert on many television and radio programs. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a proud member of numerous professional organizations.

Jason Altman, MD, obtained his undergraduate degree at the Dartmouth College Thayer School of Engineering. He received his medical degree from the Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dr. Altman completed his medical internship and otolaryngology- head and neck surgery residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Hospital. During this time, Dr. Altman also participated in the Jerome P. Webster Fellowship, providing free plastic surgery to the needy. He has authored numerous scientific articles and has presented at plastic surgery meetings nationwide. Dr. Altman is a Fellow of the New York Society of International Humanitarian Surgeons and a member of several professional associations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Miami Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
