More About Michael F. Chiaramonte, MD, FACS

Michael F. Chiaramonte, MD, FACS, completed an undergraduate degree with honors and a medical degree at the University of Maryland. He then performed a general surgery residency, serving as Chief Resident, at the University of Maryland Medical System. Dr. Chiaramonte then completed a plastic surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He continued his training by serving as the Administrative Chief Resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and as the Chief Resident at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He was a Clinical Instructor of Surgery and Plastic Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Chiaramonte serves as Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Southern Maryland Hospital Center and is the Medical Director of Bella Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Chiaramonte has written several published journal articles and is frequently invited to lecture to medical organizations. In addition, he is a member of several medical societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the National Capital Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
