More About the Surgeons of Columbus Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery

Timothy A. Treece, M.D, F.A.C.S., received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed a five-year residency at the University of Texas working at both the M.D. Anderson Hospital and the Texas Heart Institute. Dr. Treece has been in the field of plastic surgery for more than 18 years, during which time he has been the recipient of many awards, including an outstanding teaching award from the plastic surgery residents at The Ohio State University. He has also been recognized by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons for his work with the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation. Dr. Treece has served more than 10 years as the Chairman of Plastic Surgery at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Dr. Treece is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a proud member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Susan D. Vasko, M.D, F.A.C.S., obtained her medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where she also completed her four-year surgical residency. She is the co-founder of Columbus Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery and has been in the field for more than 18 years. Dr. Vasko has been recognized as one of the top cosmetic surgeons in Columbus by the "Docs Rate Docs" survey. She supports numerous charitable causes and is dedicated to the treatment and cure of cancer. Dr. Vasko is committed to educating and training plastic surgery residents at the Riverside Methodist Hospital, where she serves as the Director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Vasko frequently participates in the latest plastic surgery research efforts and has been frequently invited as a guest lecturer. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and proud member of professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Robert T. Heck, M.D., F.A.C.S., earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Ohio, where he also completed his four-year surgical residency. In recognition of his academic excellence, Dr. Heck was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and is a recipient of numerous other awards, including the Golden Apple Resident Award. Dr. Heck continued his extensive medical training with a two-year plastic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and an Aesthetic and Breast Fellowship in Los Angeles, where he studied under the mentorship of renowned surgeon Dr. W. Grant Stevens. Over the course of his prolific career, Dr. Heck has authored many scientific articles on topics pertaining to breast surgery and has been awarded the prestigious Prism Award for his excellence in breast surgery procedures. He was named one of America's top plastic surgeons by The Strathmore Group. Dr. Heck devotes much of his time to the treatment and cure of breast cancer. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of many professional associations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.

John K. Wakelin, M.D., F.A.C.S., obtained his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery training at Mount Carmel Medical Center and his plastic surgery residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Wakelin has been voted one of the best plastic surgeons in Columbus by the "Docs Rate Docs" survey and one of "America's Top Plastic Surgeons" by the Consumer's Choice Research Council of America.
