W. John Bull, Jr., MD received his undergraduate degree and medical degree from Louisiana State University. Dr. Bull completed a five-year general surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta before completing a highly intensive three-year plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois. Dr. Bull is unique in that he is one of the few double board-certified plastic surgeons in the Chicago area. His expertise is highly regarded by his peers, as he has authored a variety of surgical publications and has been invited to lecture at conferences and schools around the country. In addition to serving as plastic surgeon for DuPage Plastic Surgery and holding a variety of active staff and outpatient privileges at area hospitals and surgical centers, Dr. Bull has volunteered his time to help less privileged patients. Some of his volunteer activities include the tattoo removal program at Edward Hospital, a plastic and reconstructive surgery team medical mission to Cuzco, Peru and the Medicine clinic for the homeless in New Orleans.

Dr. Bull is a member of a number of professional medical societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the DuPage County Medical Society, the Illinois State Medical Society and the American Medical Association.
