David Bottger, MD, is a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon who is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Bottger combines unsurpassed patient care, state-of-the-art technologies and extensive surgical skills to provide his patients with beautiful outcomes. Dr. Bottger performs several advanced liposuction techniques, including tumescent liposuction, ultrasound-assisted liposuction and power-assisted liposuction. During liposuction, Dr. Bottger carefully removes fat through miniscule incisions using a narrow tube, or cannula, connected to a suction device. Common areas for liposuction treatment are the abdomen, thighs, hips, back, neck, arms, calves and ankles.

David Bottger, MD, completed an undergraduate degree at Princeton University and a medical degree at the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He continued his education with a general surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati, as well as a plastic surgery residency and hand surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Bottger is the Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Delaware County Memorial Hospital and serves on the medical staff at the Bryn Mawr Hospital. He is a member of several medical organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Robert Ivy Society of Plastic Surgeons.
