More About Mordcai Blau, MD

Mordcai Blau, MD, earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Tel Aviv in 1973. After medical school, Dr. Blau completed more than six years of general surgery and plastic surgery training at the prestigious Albert Einstein Medical School. He later taught anatomy classes to help educate the next generation of medical specialists; additionally, he taught at New York Medical College. Although Dr. Blaus formal education has long since been completed, he routinely attends seminars and conventions throughout the country and participates in training courses given at top U.S. Universities such as Harvard, UCLA and NYU to remain at the forefront of the advancements in plastic surgery.

Dr. Blau has been a Diplomate of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons for the past 15 years and is a member of the New York Medical Society. Currently, Dr. Blau is Chief of Plastic Surgery in the Westchester Ambulatory Surgical Center and is affiliated with White Plains Hospital, St. Agnes Hospital and a number of other reputable local hospitals.
