Dr. Bitar earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington DC. He performed his general surgery residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and his plastic surgery residency at the University of Virginia, where he was provided with a strong foundation in reconstructive surgery for people injured in accidents, facial deformities, severe burns, hand surgery and microsurgery. Dr. Bitar later completed a cosmetic and breast surgery fellowship at a prestigious Cosmetic Surgery Center in the United States where he studied under ten board-certified surgeons. He has trained internationally with some of the most prominent cosmetic surgeons in the world, from which he has assimilated a variety of unique plastic surgery skills that he brings to each patient in an individualized fashion.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Bitar has been invited as a guest speaker on a number of subjects related to advancements in plastic surgery, including laser treatments and guidelines for safety associated with the implementation of anesthesia.

Dr. Bitar has co-authored an article and taught other plastic surgeons about his unique neck-lift technique.
