Ramin Behmand, MD, FACS, is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed a comprehensive six-year plastic surgery training program at the University of Michigan, where he was chosen as the Academic Chief Resident his final year. Dr. Behmand went on to complete further fellowship training in complex cosmetic surgical procedures of the face and body. In addition, he has undergone extensive training in endoscopic and laser procedures, body contouring with liposuction, breast augmentation and breast lift surgery, and facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty surgery.

In addition to maintaining his premier private practice, Dr. Behmand serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He also serves as the Chair of Plastic Surgery at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Behmand is actively involved in a number of prestigious professional medical societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Reed O. Digman Society for Plastic Surgeons, Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the American Medical Association. Dr. Behmand is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
