Rex Moulton-Barrett, MD, FACS, is a world-renowned plastic surgeon with the rare distinction of being board certified by both The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Moulton-Barrett is considered to be one of the great modern innovators in cosmetic plastic surgery.

Dr. Moulton-Barrett is a past-recipient of the California Hispanic American Medical Association Research Award and the Russell Memorial Exam Award for Nervous System Diseases. Rex Moulton-Barrett, MD, FACS earned his medical degree from the University of Birmingham Medical School, in England. After receiving his Doctorate of Medicine, Dr. Moulton-Barrett participated in extensive surgical training that spanned 10 years and two continents. He studied general surgery at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham -England, Head and Neck Surgery - at the University of California, Irvine, and completed residency / fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami.

Dr. Moulton-Barrett is widely respected by his peers and he is regularly invited to present at symposiums and conventions focusing on the advancement of plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has authored many articles and publications and is affiliated with a number of hospitals located throughout California. He has also devoted a great deal of time and energy to a number of national and international volunteer health organizations. His volunteerism has taken him around the world performing hundreds of surgical procedures on infants, children and adults suffering from serious disfigurements. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
