Milind K. Ambe, MD is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, with fellowship training in aesthetic breast, facial and body contouring surgery. From a young age, he dedicated his life to a combination of science and art. His family is composed of musicians and Dr. Ambe became a concert pianist, before he developed his focus on plastic surgery, a profession requiring extensive medical skill and a vision of artistry. Dr. Ambe has had his own private practice in Newport Beach for over seven years where he has garnered an excellent reputation for operating with an artistic touch and meticulous attention to detail.

Dr. Ambe is the principal owner in a 7,000 square foot outpatient surgery center which he built in 2004; all of the aforementioned cosmetic surgery procedures are performed in this surgery center with a board-certified M.D. anesthesiologist.

More About Dr. Ambe

Milind Ambe, MD received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine where he graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Ambe remained at the University of California, Irvine after graduation, earning his medical degree in 1988. Following medical school, Dr. Ambe participated in a highly selective postgraduate internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA where he later performed a five-year residency in general surgery. Dr. Ambe eventually returned to his Alma matter where he completed specialty fellowship training in aesthetic breast, facial and body contouring surgery. Dr. Ambe remains involved with life at the University of California, Irvine, where he has been an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery since 1995.

Dr. Ambe is a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons. He lives with his wife and their daughter in Newport Coast, California.
