A Note about Liposuction Surgery and Lipoplasty

Liposuction surgery, also known as lipoplasty, is one type of cosmetic plastic surgery that is commonly performed to enhance a person's appearance, shape and profile. Plastic surgeons in the Houston area who perform traditional liposuction may also perform tumescent liposuction and may offer lipo-dissolve. Houston liposuction surgeons may also perform lap band procedures, and may offer body lift and other procedures or treatments for body contouring. Liposuction is not a type of weight loss surgery, also known as bariatric surgery or gastric bypass surgery.
