Plump and positively perfect lips are trending, and we can pretty much thank Kylie Jenner for putting such pouty pretty puckers on our radar. The youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner crew sparked an Internet craze when legions of teens tried to emulate her plumped lips with the ill-fated Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge (locate shot glass, insert lips, suck). Now she has introduced Kylie Lip Kits, a collection of liquid lipsticks and matching liners, to make this endeavor safer for imitators. The kits sold out in record time — twice!

You can still get lips that pop even if you don't have the patience to wait for the next shipment of #LipKitByKylie. Here's how:

Step 1. Exfoliate

Apply a thick layer of Vaseline to your lips. Next, use a really soft toothbrush to gently rub your lips in a circular motion. This will get rid of the dead skin cells that make your lips look dry and chapped as Vaseline does what it does best: hydrates and heals. Wipe your lips off before moving on to the next step.

Step 2. Add plump and color

Available in tinted or clear gloss, balm, stick, gel, or pots, lip plumpers fatten the lips temporarily — usually by irritating them with a host of ingredients that cause mild swelling and redness. Goddess Gossip recommends: LifeCell's new +MaxiLip for fullness and hydration.

Step 3. Define the borders

Outline your lips with liner for thicker lips. Ideally the color should blend well with your lipstick.

Step 4. Add some shimmer

Dap a speck of sheer gold lipstick on the middle of your bottom lip. Press your lips together for a sparkle that will make your kisser that much more irresistible. (And whatever you do, don't take the Kylie Jenner Lip challenge.)

Is hot yoga risky?

It can be. Bikram yoga is done in a room that is least 105° F. Some relish the heat as it helps them "sweat out toxins," but dangers can include heat stroke, joint and muscle damage, extreme thirst and dizziness. At least one study found that this popular practice was as safe as traditional not-hot yoga, but the study was small and the findings may not apply to all hot yoga classes and studios. If you do decide to give hot yoga a try, stay hydrated and listen to your body during class!
